It may be down to the increasingly favourable climate allowing for more reliable harvests or the staggering levels of investment and an influx of winemakers from around the world. Or maybe it is down to the sheer quality of wines being produced, which now regularly win competitions and awards across the globe. These vineyards, often set in impossibly beautiful parts of our country, are now opening up for members of the public to visit, taste and explore.
